McAdam Park circuit update

After several weeks of tireless work by the Sporting Motorcycle Club (SMCC),
the McAdam Park circuit at Barrabool is primed and ready for the International
Oceania Motocross Championships to be held this weekend (October 27-28).
Changes to the circuit include a new whoops section, a new huge step-up jump, while the elevator triple is now a big 100 footer that is sure to make for spectacular airtime!
The tracks surface has also come in for close attention with countless truckloads of sand and sawdust brought in to be mixed in with the freshly ripped surface which will provide a testing surface as the circuit roughens up and forms multiple lines and passing opportunities!
While the circuit received a soaking on Thursday night from a rain shower, the track has also been constantly watered to eliminate dust.
All in all, it is shaping up to be the best McAdam Park circuit ever!

Date: Saturday and Sunday October 27 and 28, 2007.
Time: Gates open daily at 8:30 am
Location: Barrabool track. Follow the signs from Geelong
