What is the Oceania MX Championships?

The International Oceania Motocross Championships is a yearly event that pits Australia's best Pro, Junior and Women's motocross riders against a similar team from New Zealand over two races per class. Points are scored from all races and classes and combined to select the International Oceania Motocross Championship winner.

This years format will also include the Pro shootout and the final Pro feature race. This Pro feature race will see the top scored 20 Pro Lite riders against the top scored 20 Pro Open riders in an all in, best of the best finale to the weekend while the shootout will see the four fastest Pro Open and Pro Lite riders from each country go head to head, one-on-one.

This year, both countries have again called for reinforcements from their World MX and US based riders to ensure they stand tall with the International Oceania Motocross Championship trophy!

After many years of domination by the New Zealanders, Australia has taken the title the past 2 years and the Kiwi's want the trophy BACK!

With the long standing sporting rivalry that exists between these two countries, it is sure to be a knock down, battle to the finish between the worlds best.
